The Spirit of the Lord is upon us! As we recall Jesus' words in Holy Scripture, "Behold, I make all things new," I am pleased to announce the lifting of the general dispensation from Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation, and I welcome all of you back to your faithful Catholic family beginning the weekend of June 26-27, 2021. Only those who have reasonable cause for a continued absence from Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation shall continue to be dispensed. The Mass is our intimate encounter with Jesus. We offer our lives together with Jesus to God the Father.

My sincerest thanks and appreciation, both to the Diocese of La Crosse and Father Arul Doss (Pastor) for allowing me to be able to come to his Tripatile Parishes of Fountain City, Alma, and Waumandee for the Annual Mission Appeal Program.

On November 20, 1969, the Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi was carved out of the Archdiocese of cape Coast Ghana - West Africa. The Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi is situated in the southwestern coastal part of Ghana. The Diocese is bordered on the west by LaCote d'Ivorie, on the east by the Central Region of Ghana and to the south with the Gulf of Guinea (Atlantic Ocean). The Seat/See of the Diocese is the Twin City of Sekondi-Takoradi.

On this eleventh Sunday of ordinary time, the readings speak about kingdom of God.

We celebrate Corpus Christi. The feast of Corpus Christi was proposed by St. Thomas Aquinas to Pope Urban IV, emphasizing the joy of the Eucharist being the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Having recognized the authenticity of the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena , in 1264, the pope, then established the feast of Corpus Christi as a Solemnity.

Jesus shared table many times with his disciples. Of all the meals he shared with them, the meal that stayed in their memory more than any other was their last meal i.e., last supper.

Dear people of God,

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, coming of the Holy Spirit on apostles and mother Mary. The Spirit is in fact the Easter Gift par excellence. He is the Creator Spirit, who constantly brings about new things. Today’s readings show us two of those new things. In the first reading, the Spirit makes of the disciples a new people; in the Gospel, he creates in the disciples a new heart.

Dear People of God,

On this 7th Sunday of Easter, we celebrate Christ’s Ascension into heaven. At the end of His earthly life Jesus ascends triumphantly into heaven. Today’s feast is a culmination of the events of the Paschal mysteries of Christ. It was evident that the death of Christ was never going to be a defeat, but a victory, exaltation and a glorification. Like every good child, having fulfilled his mission, He has returned to render full account of his work to his father. As a body of Christ, we rejoice because today we celebrate the final victory of Jesus over Satan and this world. This is a sign of hope that, as Christ our head defeated Satan and defiled the force of gravity to ascend to the father, we too shall one day overcome all the forces. Ascension also reminds us that we are on a journey and that, rather than this world, heaven is our final destination.

Good morning to you all! Happy Mother’s Day. I wish and pray that all our Mothers may be blessed with the choicest blessings of our Risen Lord Christ through the powerful intersession of our Mother Mary.

One of the remarkable qualities of a Mother is selfless love. On this sixth Sunday of Easter, the readings are all about love. It is a very fitting day liturgically to celebrate Mother’s Day. Both second and gospel reading are calling us to love as Christ loves. This request from our Lord is no small endeavor. It is something we must work at every day in every moment. When we put it at the forefront of our minds and hearts, and strive to live it out each day, it will transform our lives and impact others, too.

First of all, I thank and appreciate all those who worked for the spring fundraiser for our St. Boniface school children. Many Volunteers, Parents, Teachers, Staff and Students worked with dedication, Zeal and more enthusiasm. I was very much taken up by your hard work and commitment. I think that this year, the entire program of fundraiser was more different and lot of fun than the previous years. I also thank heartily also who supported this fundraiser by sacrificing your time, lot of stuffs for auction and money.

Dear Friends in Christ Jesus,

Today we celebrate the Holy Trinity. It reminds us that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are working together. They are never separated, though, each one of them is a distinct divine person. There is unity of essence and relation within the three divine persons. It is a mystery and can best be appreciated only with the “eyes of faith.”

This fourth Sunday is called Good Shepherd Sunday. Jesus often used the imagery of shepherds and sheep to show his care for others. The imagery is old but the message is still relevant to us.

On this third Sunday of Easter, the liturgy of Word of God invites us to celebrate the living Christ, who is our advocate. Through his death and resurrection, he advocates for us. Ignorance and doubt keep us in fear and darkness, while Christ illumines and strengthens our faith. The major problem of the Jewish leaders who crucified Christ was ignorance. They thought they knew God and were advancing his course. On the contrary, they were actually working against it. Hence, they remained stubborn.

At the outset, I express my special thanks to Deacon Edward, Deb & Roman Kujak, Jim & Bernice Semling, Peter Schaffner, Steve Duellman, Janice Dworschak, Peggy Duellman & her girls, Bryce & Mary Lisowski, Max Bachhuber, Ellie Taverna, Mary Helmueller & John Helmueller, Mary Hildebrand and Scott Pronschinske who helped us to celebrate this Easter in a meaningful way in our three churches. I also appreciate all those who donated for purchasing of Easter flowers.

Christ is risen and the Lord is risen indeed! Today, we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ! This event is the greatest event in our Catholic faith. It is through the resurrection that Christ defeated sin and death and opened for us the gates to eternal life. All of God’s promises are fulfilled through this glorious event. This year, we are to celebrate Easter in a challenging context. The COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the whole world, this situation has dwindled our enthusiasm to celebrate Easter.
