SAINT LAWRENCE EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mass Intentions Needed

We are getting low on mass intentions. If you would like a mass said for someone, either fill out one of the blue envelopes in the back of church or send an envelope in the mail to church.

St. Lawrence Organ Key Campaign

We are still taking donations for the organ. The organ cost $32,895 of which we raised $15,679 already. It means we still need to raise $17,216 to pay the remainder of the purchase. Please continue to use the white envelopes in the pews or at the back of church to donate. Thank you to all of you who have contributed towards the purchase of our new organ already.

Children & Adult Bulletin Worship

These are anxious times, but we who follow Jesus are assured He is with us always. Thank you for wanting to continue to share that Good News with the children and families you serve. It is perhaps more important now than ever.

To assist you, we have put together a packet of free resources -- puzzles, Bible activities, worship bulletins on carefully selected topics and Scripture texts --  We pray these will strengthen the families, and especially the young disciples, with whom you work.

You can find the page with links to the PDF files here:
www.childrensbulletins.com/Covid19-childrens-activites-for-churches

May you also be strengthened as you serve in Christ's name!

P.S. Our sister publication, The Wired Word is making freely available this week's adult Sunday school lesson, which hits the pandemic head-on from the Scriptures. You can securely download the lesson at

Virtual Baby Bottle Campaign

Pro-Life Wisconsin’s Helping Both Program fills the gap for families and gives hope to moms in crisis pregnancies. Your generosity provides the financial resources to continue supporting families in need. Donate at www.prolifewi.org/donate.

Year of St. Joseph

Coming to Know more about our Spiritual Father, St. Joseph During this important year of St. Joseph, we have the opportunity to come to know more about our spiritual father through a compelling book entitled Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father by Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC. St. Joseph is the Patron of the Universal Church and the Terror of Demons. We need his father protection during these challenging times.

If you are interested in forming a parish group to embark on this initiative, visit consecrationtostjoseph.org for information and speak with your pastor.

For further assistance, including a list of suggested discussion questions, you can also contact diocesan curia staff members Ann Lankford at alankford@diolc.org or Christopher Ruff at cruff@diolc.org.
