Catholic Dumbledore’s Army

Brandon Vogt, a top selling Catholic Author, has come out with a new video series and I believe our young people and you will find it interesting and quite intriguing. For the past five months, Brandon has been secretly working on a brand new, 5-part video series.

The series is titled: "Why it's Time for a Catholic Dumbledore's Army (and Why You Need to Join)"

St. Lawrence Brunch Social

Folks whose last names begin with L-Z are asked to bring egg or french toast bakes, coffee cakes, breads or other breakfast items! Fresh fruit, coffee, and juice will be provided. Helpers are needed to set up on Saturday, January 26th at 8:30am and also before Mass and to help serve the meal and clean up afterward. Saint Lawrence PCCW Meeting

St. Lawrence Quilting Group

St. Lawrence Quilting Group will begin meeting again starting Wed, Feb 6 at 1:00pm in the church undercroft. They will meet through November; the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. Anyone is welcome to join! Questions? Please call Louise at 685-4188.


January Masses

During the month of January in Father Prince’s absence, Deacon Wendt will be holding Communion Services during the week. The schedule will stay the same except there will be no service on Thursdays. We will be having visiting priests for our weekend Masses.


Guest Speaker: Joseph M. Scheidler, founder of the Pro-Life Action League

Mr. Scheidler will speak at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in the lower level of the church at 10:00am. A Mass for Life celebrated by the Friars will follow at 11:00am, after which there will be a pizza buffet on the lower level of the church ($5 per person with pre-order required by Wed, Jan 2). Diaconate Discernment Retreat

Are you a man at least 35 years of age who feels a yearning to give yourself more radically to the service of God and the Church? Are you perhaps called to be a deacon? Talk to your pastor about attending the Diaconate Discernment Retreat to be held at St. Anthony Spirituality Center, and then call the Office for Ministries and Social Concerns at 608-791-0161.
