Casa Hogar Optical Mission Eye Glass Cases Needed

Our Parish Councils of Catholic Women are collecting eye glass cases (new and used), used glasses, reading glasses and sunglasses both prescription and nonprescription as well as anything else pertaining to eyewear (lens wipes and lens cloths).

One type of glass cases are those made out of potholders. But be creative! You can also sew, knit, crochet or quilt cases! Instructions for potholder cases can be found on the bulletin boards. Collection boxes can be found by the bulletin boards.

Please drop off your donations by Sun, Apr 19. Thank you so much for your help, know that it is very much appreciated.

Children & Adult Bulletin Worship

These are anxious times, but we who follow Jesus are assured He is with us always. Thank you for wanting to continue to share that Good News with the children and families you serve. It is perhaps more important now than ever.

To assist you, we have put together a packet of free resources -- puzzles, Bible activities, worship bulletins on carefully selected topics and Scripture texts --  We pray these will strengthen the families, and especially the young disciples, with whom you work.

You can find the page with links to the PDF files here:

May you also be strengthened as you serve in Christ's name!

P.S. Our sister publication, The Wired Word is making freely available this week's adult Sunday school lesson, which hits the pandemic head-on from the Scriptures. You can securely download the lesson at

Holy Week Centerpiece created by Lilly Lewin

In preparation for Holy Week, here is a centerpiece and meditation you can create for yourself, your family, or even online via a video or on a Zoom call with your community!

In the future, you could create this for your entire church community on site (making it larger as necessary…using larger candles and enough supplies for your entire group)

Each day there is an activity/response you can do on your own or with your family/group to retell the story of the last week of Jesus's life.

Holy Week at Home

In preparation for HOLY WEEK, the Diocese of La Crosse has added a list of activities and resources for families HERE.

Stations of the Cross books

There are books in the back of church for anyone who would like to do the Stations of the Cross while they are praying.
