Reminder: Our Prayer Chain is Still Active

If you or someone you know is in need of prayers, please contact Bernice Semling at 608-687-8530. If you would like to be part of this prayer chain, Bernice is also the person to contact.

Miracles can and do happen with the help of prayer. If you would like us to pray for you during Sunday’s Rosary, please call Rita Bechly at 608-687-8180.

Project Milk

As June is dairy month, we again have Milk Cans for donations to Project Milk at both entrances of church starting next week. During the month you can drop in money which will go to this special mission. Project Milk has a two-fold purpose: to provide milk for children at the orphanage and to raise awareness of dairy farmers in WI (all the dried milk comes from WI dairy farms).

Since 1984 Project Milk has shipped close to 450 tons of dried milk to Peru thanks to generous donations from the Lacrosse Diocese. One 50-pound sack of powdered milk costs about $100 and will feed 72 children for one week. All donations go straight to the purchase, preparation, and shipment of the powdered milk. Administrative costs are covered by the Diocesan Annual Appeal. Checks can be made out to Project Milk.

Any donation to this great cause would be greatly appreciated. How many sacks can we send?

Rosary Help Wanted

A suggestion was made by Father Albert at the last PCCW meeting that it would be nice if the Rosary was said before mass each Sunday in our church. The PCCW will begin to say the Rosary but would like additional volunteers to lead this as we are all part of this church. If you would like to volunteer to lead the rosary one Sunday, please reach out to a PCCW member and we can start a Rosary List. Rosary would start around 9:35am to allow time for music before mass. “When people say the Rosary together it is far more formidable to the devil than one said privately, because in this public prayer it is an army that is attacking him.”

Save Your Pop Tabs

Please save your pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House® of Rochester, Minnesota.

They provide a home-away-from-home and offer support to families seeking medical care for their children since 1980.

Located near Mayo Clinic and steps away from Saint Marys Hospital, the House keeps families close to the support and medical care they need. Last year alone, they helped families save $736 million in lodging and meal expenses.

There are green boxes in the back of the church for you to drop them off.

Scrip Card Deal

We have a few SCRIP cards left and we are offering them at $5 off so they only cost $20 each. Let Connie know if you would like to purchase any of these.
