Father George MSFS visits

07-21-2024Weekly ReflectionFather George MSFS

Dear People of God,

Good morning. Since Fr. George MSFS is writing his message regarding his Mission Coop for his congregation, I am not going to write my message in this bulletin. And also, he is going to do this weekend Masses in all our three Parishes. I am very happy to share the message given by Fr. George. Have a Happy Sunday!

Yours in Christ.
Fr. Doss

Hi everyone,

I am Father George Thayilkuzhithottu Msfs., pronounced, (Tail Q E Thot), but you can call me Father George. I’m a religious priest belonging to the Congregation of Missionaries of Saint Francis De Sales (MSFS). Our missionary priest work all over the world. Summer of 2006, I came to United States of America and was given my first of 3 assignments in Wisconsin. From 2006-2009 at Saint Mary’s in Custer, 2009-2012 at Saint Stanislaus, now Holy Spirit Parish, in Stevens Point and then from 2012-2018 at Sacred Heart/Saint Patrick’s in Eau Claire. Shortly before my leave back to India, January 18, 2018, I became a naturalized US citizen. Back in India I was assigned for two years at Saint Clement Philosophical College in Assam, teaching young seminarians. Currently I am Pastor of two parishes, Saints Peter and Paul in Independence and St. John the Apostles parish in Whitehall.

I am really happy to celebrate the Eucharist with you all the weekend of July 20/21 as part of the Mission co-op program of the diocese. Looking forward to share with you my missionary experience as well our mission programs in the North Eastern part of India.

God bless,
Father George MSFS
