All Scouts wishing to earn their Religious Emblems for the 2016-2017 year should be working on them at this time. Allapplications are due by Tue, May 1. Diocesan Sesquicentennial Opening Mass

Bishop Callahan will celebrate the opening of our diocesan sesquicentennial with Mass at St. Gabriel Church in Prairie du Chien beginning at 10:00am. Reception to follow at St. John Church in Prairie du Chien. All are welcome. If you are unable to attend the Mass you can view it via live stream at diolc.org/live.

Arise! A Come and See Day with the Sisters!

5th Anniversary Mass – Servant of God Father Joseph Walijewski

Diaconate Discernment Retreat

Are you a man at least 35 years of age who feels a yearning to give yourself more radically to the service of God and the Church – preaching the Gospel, serving those in need, assisting at the altar? If you think God may be calling you to be a deacon, talk to your pastor about attending the Diaconate Discernment Retreat at St. Anthony’s Retreat Center on Sat, Apr 7. Then call the Office for Ministries and Social Concerns at 608-791-0161. A new deacon formation class will begin in the fall of 2019 and attendance at the Discernment Retreat (this spring or next) is a prerequisite.

2nd Annual Franciscan CORE

Viterbo University’s second annual Franciscan CORE is scheduled for Jun 10-15. This five-day summerservice camp for rising 10th, 11th and 12th graders offers education, experience, and reflection on Catholic Social Teachingthemes and principles using a Franciscan lens. Franciscan CORE seeks to develop empathetic and grounded leaders forthe world and the Church through: Compassion for those on the margins, Outreach to those in need, Reflection onGod’s call, and Experience of community and service. 10-day pilgrimage to Rome

Join us for a 10-day pilgrimage to Rome (Sep 19-29, 2018) to witness the Deacon Ordination of Brandon Guenther (SS Peter and Paul Parish, Independence) and Ethan Hokamp (Our Lady Queen of Heaven Parish, Wisconsin Rapids). The Mass of Ordination will take place Thu, Sep 27, 2018 at St. Peter's Basilica.
