Feast of the Holy Family

12-26-2021Weekly ReflectionFr. Arul Doss

Dear Friends,

I wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year-2022. I specially thank all those who decorated the Cribs in all our three parishes. I also sincerely thank all those who sent me Christmas Cards.

This first Sunday of Christmas is dedicated to the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. There is no doubt that Jesus was born in a stable. He is God and could have been born with all the comforts that the world had to offer, but He chose to enter human history through a simple family.

Merry Christmas!

Dear People of God,

Greetings of love and Peace to you all.

I wish you a very Merry Christmas. How are all in your family? I pray at the Altar of Christ for your happiness and good health. Many more blessings of God be with you all. In advance, I express my hearty thanks for all who are going to volunteering themselves for the Christmas decorations at our three churches.

Dear People of God,

“Rejoice in the Lord always, I shall say it again: rejoice!” (Phil 4:4). We have arrived at Gaudete (Rejoice) Sunday. Today’s readings take on a joyful tone as we continue our preparations for the feast of our Savior’s birth. We can rejoice because the Eternal Word became Man out of love for us. Jesus came down from heaven to earth out of love for us. He was scourged, and died on the Cross and have Risen again out of love for us. These are all reasons to rejoice!

Prepare our Hearts for Jesus

Dear people of God,

God morning to you all. Advent is a one of the liturgical seasons that precedes and prepares for Christmas. It is a season of hope and of longing, of joyful expectation and of peaceful preparation. In this season, we are preparing our hearts for Jesus at Christmas.
