Dear people of God,

Good morning to you all. The liturgy of Word of God of this Sunday says that God freely gives his spirit to all people. Through God’s free gift, people of all nations can resist evil and manifest His true Spirit in their lives and actions.

In our First Reading, a young man approaches Moses to inform him that Eldad and Medad were prophesying in the camp. Joshua, who is Moses’ aide, encourages Moses to stop these men. Moses responds, “Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the people of the Lord were prophets! Would that the Lord might bestow his spirit on them all!” Essentially, Moses is telling his men to stop being jealous that others too have the gift of prophecy bestowed on them from the Lord.

Good morning to you all. The readings of 25th Sunday invite us to listen to Christ, who came down from heaven to serve humanity, and to follow his example by living an orderly and peaceful life. Today’s first reading is fulfilled in the life of Christ. First, it points to Christ the Son of God, who was put to death by jealous and wicked people. As a righteous man, Jesus reproached the and condemned the ambitious Pharisees and scribes of his time. They took offense, and so, persecuted and crucified Christ.

Good morning to you all. On this 24th Sunday of ordinary time, we honor and celebrate Christ the son of God who humbly accepted the weakness of our human condition. He demonstrated his solidarity with us by generously renouncing himself and accepting the cross.

In sports, business, politics and even religion, we measure success or failure according to these standards. For example, a business is successful if it generates big profits; or a government is successful if it performs well in the polls.

Good morning to you all. On this twenty second Sunday of ordinary time, the readings lead us to reflect on the best way to obey the commandment of God for the sake of our own salvation. In our first reading, Moses reminded his people of the commandment of God and urged them to be steadfast to it in order to be successful in life.

I thank God the Almighty for the good weather on Last Sunday because we had a nice Fall Festival at St. Boniface, Waumandee. I also appreciate and thank all the members of Fall Festival committee for your meticulous planning and successful execution of it. I also appreciate all who volunteered for various works and helped with your stuffs. I could see many people working throughout the day. I feel proud of you all. May our mighty God bless you all for your selfless service to our Church.

Today we celebrate the Assumption of Mary. This Solemnity celebrates the end of Mary’s earthly life — the moment she was taken up, body and soul, into heaven. This day points to the resurrection of Christ and reminds us of the hope in our resurrection one day. Yet it also reveals much about our Holy Mother. Next to her Divine Son, Mary truly is the model steward for us as we journey through this life.

On this nineteenth Sunday of ordinary time, God continues to draw us to himself in order to save, feed and strengthen us on our journey. The readings of this Sunday provide us another opportunity to continue our reflection on the gift of the Holy Eucharist, the mystery of our faith and the life of the world.

Good morning to you all. On this Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Jesus teaches the importance of seeking the bread which satisfies the hunger not only of the body but also of the soul. Jesus is the bread who the Father had given to respond to our hunger and thirst.

Good morning to you all. On this sixteenth Sunday of the ordinary time, the readings invite us to celebrate Christ, the true king and compassionate shepherd who redeems and restores his people to the Father.

Our first reading is a messianic prophesy. That is, a prophesy about the coming of Christ, the Messiah. In the first reading, the prophet Jeremiah, thunders against Israel’s careless leaders – the king, some priests, and some court prophets – because they have shown no concern for the poor.

Good morning to you all. The reading of this fifteenth Sunday speaks about how God chooses people for particular missions and about how God chooses all of us who believe to give witness to Him. God calls each one of us and invites us to follow Him and to proclaim His message to others.
